Helen F. Jackson, 95, formerly of West Chester, passed away on February 12, 2017 at Manor Care Sinking Spring.
Born in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Ammann and Lillian (Roberts) Ammann. She attended St. Agnes School. Helen resided in West Chester for over eighty years before relocating to Berks County, PA in 2004.
Helen was employed at the West Chester Laundry for over twenty years. She was a member of the Fame Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She took great pleasure in traveling with her husband on vacations and to events involving the fire company and the Veteran of Foreign Wars.
She was predeceased by her husband: Joseph Jackson; Son: Thomas E. Jackson, Sr., and Grandson: Thomas E. Jackson, Jr.
Survivors include her children: John W. Jackson, husband of Joyce of Delaware, OH and Cheryl Lynn (Jackson) Cummins of Wernersville, PA. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Sharon Jackson, Robert Jackson, Christine (Jackson) Adams, Steven Jackson, Samantha (Cummins) Dorothy, and Carrie Lynn (Cummins) Robinson; eleven great-grandchildren; and sister: Marie (Ammann) Wagner of Hockessin, DE.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
