Helen Louise Herbein

Helen Louise Herbein, 93, of West Lawn, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 5:00 am at Laureldale Skilled Nursing Center.  She was the wife of the late Robert Samuel Herbein who passed away June 14, 1999.  Born in Hellam, York County, Mrs. Herbein was the daughter of the late Austin Lester Smith and Mary Naomi (Snyder) Smith.  She was a graduate of Hellam High School and was Valedictorian of her senior class.  Mrs. Herbein was a secretary at Gilbert Associates until her retirement.  She is survived by her children Steven Allen Herbein husband of Carolyn Herbein of Atlanta, Georgia; Leslie Anne DiPaolo wife of Michael DiPaolo of Shillington; James Jeffrey Herbein of Fritztown; Christopher Lee Herbein husband of Terry Herbein of West Lawn and her 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. 

Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home  3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 10:00 am.  Amy S. Landis, Celebrant, will officiate.  Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Saturday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.  Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
