Helen Borzellino, 96, formerly of Berkshire Estates, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015. Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Rosario (Laporta) Borzellino. She was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church and was employed as a stocking inspector at Berkshire Knitting Mills and Vanity Fair for 50 years. Ms. Borzellino is survived by her sisters Rose, widow of Martin P. Papich of Palmyra and Michaeline, widow of Hugh Dougherty of Muhlenberg Park. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Phyllis Kozak; LaDora Field; Candy Bott; Tina Good; Patrick Dougherty; Toni Renee Ortenzi; Louis Joffred and Daniel Borzellino, Jr. along with several great nieces and nephews. Ms. Borzellino was preceded in death by her siblings Elizabeth Borzellino; Sarah Joffred; Nina Genova; Anthony Borzellino; Daniel Borzellino; Samuel Borzellino and Joseph Borzellino.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum at the convenience of the family. Reverend Keith A. Mathur, Celebrant. Entombment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 745 Governor Road, Hershey, PA 17033 in memory of Ms. Helen Borzellino.
