Hayden Wivell

Hayden W. "Buddy" Wivell, 80, of Cumru Twp., passed away October 19, 2015 in his residence.
He was the widower of Regina M. "Jean" (Fives) Wivell, they were married for over 50 years.
Born in Archbald, PA, he was the son of the late Hayden G. and Eleanor (Bishop) Wivell.
Buddy was a US Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was employed at Alcatel-Lucent as an Electrical/Technical Engineer for over 35 years, retiring in 1989.
Survivors include children William H. Wivell, husband of Dawn M. Wivell, Exeter Twp.; Lisa A. Irving, wife of Jamey A. Irving, Tremont , PA; Karen M. Formicone, wife of Gregory M. Formicone, South Heidelberg Twp; along with three grandchildren Alyssa, Morgan and Connor and sister Grace Jasuta, New Providence, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Keystone Wounded Warriors: P.O. Box 475, Blandon, PA 19510.
Celebration of Life Service will be held in Bean Funeral Homes, 129 East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington, Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 12:30pm, Kathy L. Lentz, Certified Celebrant will officiate. Entombment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum with military honors. The family will receive relatives and friends 11:30- 12:30pm.
