Harvey M. Troutman, 94, of Kenhorst, passed away on October 28, 2018 at his residence with his loving companion Katie Skorupsky by his side.
Born in Robesonia, he was the son of the late Milton C. and Sadie (Berns) Troutman.
Harvey was a US Army Veteran, proudly serving as a Sergeant during WWII. He went onto found and operate Troutman Shoe Store of Sinking Spring and later H.M. Troutman Painting of Sinking Spring, where he worked for 25 years until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the Sinking Spring Fire Company. He will be remembered for his love of hunting, golfing, gardening, and most of all his antique car collection.
He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years: Micheline F. (Gavroy) Troutman and 10 siblings.
Survivors include his children: John M. Troutman, Sr., husband of Margie of Spring Twp., Dennis H. Troutman, husband of Kathy of Wernersville, and Michele Y. Skorupsky of Exeter Twp. Also surviving are grandchildren: John M. Troutman, Jr., husband of Rose, Jeffrey J. Troutman, husband of Dawn, Nick Troutman, and Melissa R. Troutman; great-grandchildren: Michael, Ashley, Alexa, Collin, and Zachary; and a sister: Mary Bender.
Funeral Services will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends and relatives from 9-11:00AM. Interment will follow the service at Sinking Spring Cemetery.
