Harvey H. Heffner, Jr.

Harvey H. Heffner, Jr., 86, formerly of West Lawn, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025 at 12:22 pm at Ephrata Manor. He was the husband of the late Dawn L. (Burkhardt) Heffner who passed away April 5, 2024. Born in Reading, Mr. Heffner was the son of the late Harvey H. Heffner, Sr. and Carrie (Barlet) Heffner. He was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church and served in the United States Army. Mr. Heffner was employed by PP&L as a line crew leader for 31 ½ years retiring in December 1993. He is survived by his sons Michael S. Heffner husband of Carol A. White of Lititz; Greg C. Heffner husband of Ann M. Heffner of Ephrata; his grandchildren Christen Heffner and Rebecca Deckman and his great grandchildren Ember, John, Lainie, Jaden and was preceded in death by his grandchild Nova as well as 12 brothers and sisters.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Friday, January 24, 2025 at 10:00 am. Reverend Terry Cooney will officiate. Interment with Military Honors rendered by the United States Army Honor Guard will follow at Berks County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Friday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
