Harold Wentzel

Harold D. Wentzel, 74, of Reading passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Penn State Health- St. Joes. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Harold K. Wentzel and Loretta Yeager. He was a proud worker of Penske Truck Leasing as a mechanic for 40 years and an honorable member of the US Navy. Harold is survived by his son, Michael Wentzel, husband of Diane of Exeter Township, daughter Michelle (Wentzel) Hafer, wife of William Hafer of Muhlenberg. He is also survived by his two grandchildren Jacob and Erin Wentzel; brother Barry Wentzel, husband of Linda of Muhlenberg; 3 sisters Shirlery Hahn, wife of the late Roger Hahn of Sinking Spring; Bonnie, wife of Thomas Unger of Mohrsville; Joan Schweitzer of Reading; and his ex-wife Joyce Cutler and Lorraine Fick.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes N. 16th & Rockland Street, Reading, PA 19604 on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 11:00am. Ms. Lindsey Petrie will be officiating. Interment will follow at Spies Zion Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00-11:00am at the funeral home on Thursday.
