Harold Gregory Hall, 62, a hard-working family man from Wyomissing, passed away on Monday at Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Jean (Long) Hall. Greg was born September 18, 1955 in Wheeling, West Virginia, to the late Herschel and Joan Hall. He was a 1972 graduate of Peoria High School, AZ. He proudly served in the U.S. Army in the 1970's in Germany, where he met his wife. After moving to Pennsylvania, the two married in 1979, and would have celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary on May 19th. Greg is survived by his two children, Zachary and Kristen. Zachary and fiancAC.e Kelsey of Mt Penn, will marry July 21st, and have two children, Noah and Chase. Kristen and husband Victor live in Arizona with their two children, Leslie and Gavin. He is also survived by his father-in-law D Gregory Doskus, Muhlenberg; siblings Eric, Tina (wife of Wes Higgins), and Brian, of Arizona. Greg retired from Carpenter Technology in 2012 after 28 years working as a crane operator. The finest days in life included family gatherings, playing pinochle with special friend Penny Kohl, fishing, hunting, cruising, camping, and following Philadelphia sports teams.
Celebration of life service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, 19608 on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 5:00pm. Amy S. Landis, certified celebrant will officiate. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00pm-5:00pm at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to www.beanfuneralhomes.com.
