Gunhild E. Siegfried, 91 , of Wernersville, passed away on May 7, 2017 at The Reading Hospital.
Born in Frankenberg, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Josef Muller and Maria Amalie Muller.
Gunhild was employed as a dietary employee for 19 years at Wernersville State Hospital, retiring in 1988. She will be remembered for having a great love for animals, especially her 5 cats. Her final wish, was a hope that more love and understanding could be found throughout the world.
She was predeceased by her husband: Wayne J. Siegfried, daughter: Monika M. Holland, and brothers: Gunter Muller and Horst Miller.
She is survived by her daughter Anita L. Siegfried of Wernersville and Anita's companion Jim Adams of Reading.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Rd., Birdsboro, PA 19508.
