Grace Hornickle

Grace Anne Hornickle, 17, of Spring Township, passed away on Friday March 5, 2021.  Born in West Reading, Grace was the daughter of Dr. David J. and Maria T. (Wojcik) Hornickle.  She was a member of Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church and was a junior at Berks Catholic High School. Grace was kind and caring and touched many lives with her generous heart.  She possessed a dry sense of humor and a quick wit which led to a great deal of laughter. Grace enjoyed drawing from an early age and became very accomplished with her art.  She also enjoyed listening to music and playing video games.  Grace was a member of the National Honor Society and participated in cross country and track and field.  She was also in several service clubs at school.  Grace was a gentle soul who will be truly missed by those who knew her.

In addition to her parents Grace is survived by her brother James C. Hornickle, a sophomore at the University of Scranton; paternal grandmother Elizabeth Hornickle of Bensalem; paternal step-grandmother Deborah Hornickle of Langhorne; maternal grandfather Francis Wojcik of Norristown; uncles Ernest Hornickle, husband of Victoria Hornickle of Jamison; Mark Wojcik of Norristown and was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Ernest Hornickle and maternal grandmother Sophie “Dolly” Wojcik.

Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring at the convenience of the family.  Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuenralhomes.com
