Glenn Lee Trumbore, 82, of Temple, passed away peacefully at Penn State Health - St. Joseph Medical Center on Monday, May 10, 2021.
Glenn was born March 14, 1939 in Reading, PA to Russell and Edna (Gerhert) Trumbore.
Glenn married the love of his life, Jeanette (Dalton), on November 28, 1959 and recently celebrated 61 years of marriage. Glenn was a long time member of the Travelers. Glenn and Jeanette were the proud owners of Trummy’s Sandwich Shop on Pricetown Road for 13 years, where they created lifelong friendships with their patrons.
Glenn loved to entertain with large family picnics throughout the years, spending time with friends and family, and Glenn was well known as a wonderful storyteller.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Jeanette, his daughter, Sherry (Trumbore) Nicholson, wife of Mervyn Nicholson of Reading, and his son, Sterling Trumbore, husband of Heather (Ricker) Trumbore of Temple. Also surviving are his grandchildren; Shevon (Nicholson) Bhattacharya, wife of Joshua Bhattacharya of Mumbai, India, Kyle Nicholson, fiancé of Maren Hunsroed of Oslo, Norway, Blake Trumbore, and Bennett Trumbore both of Temple, his great-grandson, Brandon Bhattacharya, of Mumbai, India, his sister, Sylvia Kutz, of Reading, his half-brother, Randy Trumbore, and his beloved dog, Susie.
Glenn is predeceased by his parents and his brother, Odnel (Pete) Trumbore.
