Glenda Shomgard

Glenda Margaret Shomgard, 83, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at 1:00 pm in Berkshire Center. She was the wife of the late Raymond G. Shomgard who passed away on April 5, 2006. Born in Derbyshire, England, Mrs. Shomgard was the daughter of the late Richard and Alice Annie (Clarey) Bailey. She was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church and was an Estee Lauder counter manager at John Wanamaker's in the Berkshire Mall for over 26 years retiring in 1995. Mrs. Shomgard is survived by her son Bruce R. Shomgard, husband of Margaret L. Shomgard of Sinking Spring and her daughter Tracy L. Bollinger, fiancAC. of Erik Baumener of Sinking Spring and her grandchildren Abby, Taylor, Chrissy and Sara and her great grandson Jacob. Mrs. Shomgard was preceded in death by her brother Richard Bailey.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 12:30 pm. Reverend Terry Cooney will officiate. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Tuesday 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
