Gladys Miller

Gladys H. Miller, 89, of Wernersville, passed away on October 13, 2016 at her residence.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Harry E. Boyer and Dorothy Fisher.
Gladys was employed as District Manager for World Book Encyclopedia, Inc. She was also employed as a Secretary for the Salvation Army of Reading, where she later served on the board of directors.
She was highly involved in Child Evangelism Fellowship and St. Paul's Evangelical Congregational Church Children's Ministries.
She is survived by her husband: Richard W. Miller, Children: Jeffrey S. Miller, husband of Kathleen M. of Cumru Township; Stephen R. Miller, husband of Sue of Douglas, GA; and Julie M. Latzgo, wife of Philip F. of Birdsboro. She is also survived by grandchildren: Kristin, Erin, and Jordan; Great-grandchild: Alexis; and Sisters: Jean Boyer and the late Fern Bieber.
Funeral Services will be held at Community Evangelical Church, 51 Green Valley Road, Sinking Spring, on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends and relatives at church from 10-11:00AM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Evangelical Church, 51 Green Valley Rd., Sinking Spring, PA 19608 to be given to Child Evangelism Fellowship and The Salvation Army of Reading.
