Gladys Barreto

Gladys Mercedes Barreto, 83, of Spring Twp., passed away on September 29, 2016 at her residence.
Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Justin O. Andino and Antonia Barreto.
Gladys was employed as a Concierge for the Barbizon Plaza Hotel in New York City. She was a devoted spouse and mother, whom performed beyond her abilities. She will be greatly missed and loved by everyone she leaves behind.
She was predeceased by her husband: Antonio Velazquez and daughter: Bridys Abbazzia.
She is survived by her children: Anthony Velazquez, Ruben Velazquez, and John Velazquez, husband of Emy (Font) Velazquez. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Antonio Daniel Velazquez, John Velzaquez, Jr., and Daniel Velazquez; Great-grandchildren: Andy and Isabella Velasquez; Brother: Rafael Molina and Sister: Nilda Andino.
A Prayer Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 5:00PM. The family will receive friends and relatives from 3-5:00PM.
