Gertrude M. (Kirlin) Stuber, 93, of Reading, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
Born in Rosedale, PA, she was the daughter of the late William H. Kirlin and Gertrude M. (Spatz) Kirlin.
She was the wife of the late John F. Stuber, who passed away on August 28, 1987.
She was a 1933 graduate of the former Shillington High School, and was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Reading.
Mrs. Stuber and her husband were owners of several hotels in Reading, Hamburg, and Reamstown.
Survivors include a son: Dr. Ronald N. Stuber, husband of Suzanne Stuber of Bigfork, MT.
There is also a granddaughter: Jaime (Stuber) Pamplin, wife of Lee Pamplin of Kentucky; and two great grandsons: Jordan and Ryan.
She is also survived by three nieces and one nephew.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is pre deceased by brothers: William and Raymond Kirlin, and sisters: Florence V. (Kirlin) Pyle, Stella M. (Kirlin) Hoffman, and Ruth N. (Kirlin) Hartman.
