Geraldine Haggerty

Geraldine E. Haggerty, 81, of West Lawn formerly of Reading, passed away November 15, 2008 at 8:20 PM in St. Joseph Medical Center where she was a patient since November 13th. She was the wife of Warren H. Haggerty Sr. who passed away July 1989. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Catherine (Graul) Haggerty.
Mrs. Haggerty was employed for 10 years at Camp Industries in Reading retiring in 1989. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
Surviving are 2 sons, Warren H. Haggerty Jr., former Mayor of the city of Reading, and his wife Lisa P. Haggerty of Reading and Michael G. Haggerty and his wife Marie E. Haggerty of West Lawn, 5 grandchildren Matthew, Elizabeth, Patrick, James and John Haggerty and a sister Maureen (McCauley) wife of Robert Artz of Atlanta, GA.
