Gerald P. Nally, 75, of Kenhorst, passed away January 31, 2011 in Berks Heim where he resided since September 7, 2010. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Ferko) Nally. Born in Reading on May 23, 1935, he was the son of the late Joseph and Adelaide (Mitchell) Nally.
Gerald was a 1953 graduate of Reading Catholic High School and served in the US Army during peacetime.
He was employed as a route salesman by Strohman Bakeries for 25 years retiring in 1997.
Mr. Nally served on Kenhorst Borough Council for many years and was the Mayor of Kenhorst from 1998 until 2005.
Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 daughters Debra A. (Nally) wife of James P. Pierce of Wernersville and Susan M. (Nally) wife of John G. Biscanti of Sinking Spring, 1 son Jeffrey P. Nally of Spring City, 6 grandchildren, 1 brother Joseph Nally and 5 sisters Barbara Mierczewski, Kathleen Piano, Monica Mull, Judy Sweitzer and Carol Cardell. He was predeceased by 2 brothers Dennis and Eugene Nally.
