Gerald M. Keener

Gerald “Jerry” M. Keener, 84, of Reading, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at the Reading Hospital. Born on May 20, 1940, in Fritztown, he was the son of the late Clarence and Irene (Lebo) Keener. During Jerry’s life, he worked as a Machine Operator for Narrow Fabrics in West Reading for 52 years, until retiring. He enjoyed attending the fairs in the summer and flea markets. He also enjoyed the casinos and was a member of the Meadow Brooke Country Club. 

Jerry is survived by his brothers, Richard Keener, Colorado Springs, CO; Ronald Keener, husband of Phyllis Keener, of Reinholds; David Keener, husband of Barbara Keener, of Fritztown; sisters, Doris Enzman, wife of John Enzman, of Shillington; and Janice Emes, wife of Perry Emes, of Harrisburg.

He was predeceased by his brothers Milton Keener, Larry Keener and Kenneth Keener.
