Georgia Buchert

Georgia C. Buchert, 69, of Alsace Twp., passed away on March 11, 2017 at her residence.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Carl J. and Mary (Butts) Pennock.
Georgia was previously employed as a secretary for a buyer of Boscov's Dept. Store. For the last 36 years, she served as the secretary for Shillington Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband: Dennis F. Buchert, children: Michelle L. Eck of Catawissa, PA and Shane A. Buchert, husband of Stacey of Windermere, Fl. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Caleb A., Dylan A., and Emily T. Eck, Brandon and Dylan Boyer, and Melaina, Giuliana, and Abbey Buchert.
Funeral Services will be held at Shillington Church of Christ, 475 Philadelphia Ave., Shillington, on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 11:00AM. A viewing will be held from 9-11:00AM. Interment will follow the service at Laureldale Cemetery.
