George Rubright

George L. Rubright, 95, of Wernersville, passed away on January 26, 2017 at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
Born in Frackville, he was the son of the late Norton M. and Adella K. (Burchill) Rubright.
George was married for 66 years to his wife, Ruth F. (Bryant) Rubright, who passed away in 2011.
A graduate of Dickinson University and Temple University School of Medicine, Dr. Rubright developed a thriving family practice in Reading, and for many years touched the lives of many people and delivered many babies. George enjoyed spending time with family, traveling the world, and gardening.
In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
He is survived by his children: Leigh B. Lasik, wife of Frank of Littleton, CO; Stephen C. Rubright of Bird Creek, Alaska; Ann K. Rubright, wife of Jean Goldsborough of Reading, Vermont; Todd B. Rubright, husband of Gina L. of Littleton, CO; and Christopher J. Rubright of Seattle, Washington. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Courtney Domingo, Michele Stuvel, Stephen Lasik, Jamie Ellefson, Taylor Rubright, Bryant Rubright and great-grandchildren: Davis Domingo and River Ellefson.
Memorial Services will be held at St. John's (Hain's) UCC, 591 Church Road, Wernersville, on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends and relatives at church from 10-11:00AM. Interment of urn will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Salvation Army.
