Gary Wert Sr

Gary D. Wert Sr., 58, of Lower Heidelberg Twp., passed away March 21, 2010 at 10:03 PM surrounded by his loving family in Reading Hospital and Medical Center where he was a patient since March 3rd. He was the husband of Bonnie L. (Doll) Wert. Born in Reading on July 12, 1951, he was the son of the late Mary A. (Remp) Wert Buchalter and the late Wayne E. Wert.

Mr. Wert was a 1969 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School.

Gary was employed by Construction Fasteners (SFS Intech) in Wyomissing for 9 years last working in May of 2006.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son Gary D. Wert Jr. at home, a daughter Kimberly (Wert) wife of Ross Houck of Reinholds, a daughter Adrienne (Wert) wife of David Becker of Mohnton, 3 grandchildren, 3 brothers Gerald W. Wert and Dennis M. Wert both of Mohnton, and Bruce A. Buchalter of Shoemakersville. He was predeceased by a sister Lucy A. Buchalter in February of 2009.
