Gale Leclair

Gale F. LeClair, 60, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away Friday evening, April 27, 2018 in her residence. Born in Reading, Ms. LeClair was the daughter of Fern E. (Dautrich) Madenford a resident at Berks Heim and the late Robert H. Madenford. She was a 1975 graduate of Muhlenberg High School, a member of Alsace Lutheran Church and was a secretary at Muhlenberg Middle School. Ms. LeClair is survived by her children Andrew T. LeClair, husband of Tara C. LeClair of Reading; John J. LeClair of Lancaster and Amanda G. LeClair, fiancAC. of Bradley A. Adams of Reading and her grandchildren Andrew Carter LeClair and Cameron James LeClair. She was preceded in death by her brother Gary R. Madenford, July 18, 1984, her maternal grandparents Lillie and Howard Dautrich and her paternal grandparents Esther and Miles Madenford.
Gale particularly enjoyed watching reruns on TV Land and sharing the comedic episodes with others. Her family's favorite dessert that she would make was her famous Jello cake and you could find Gale bellowing out Willie Nelson songs around the house. She had an imagination to create Halloween costumes for her children to flaunt around at school parades. A gift that was always appreciated was anything that had to do with frogs because she owned an extraordinary collection. However, Gale's love for her family took precedence over everything and a part of our hearts went with her.
Memorial Service will be held in Bean Funeral Homes & Cremation Services North 16th & Rockland Streets, Hampden Heights, Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Reverend Richard A. Nelson will officiate. Interment will follow in Alsace Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Homes & Cremation Services Thursday 12:00-2:00 pm.
