G. Dawson

G. Wayne Dawson, 78, of, Bethel Township, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Penn State Health St. Joseph. He was the beloved husband of Shirley A. (Foresto) Dawson whom celebrated 57 years of marriage. Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late George W. And Annette (Yosko) Dawson. Wayne graduated from Phoenixville High School and went on to serve in the United States Navy during the Peacetime. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend always inspiring his family members with his words of wisdom, especially "I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken". In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Rochell A. Kauffman , wife of Lynn Kauffman, of Womelsdorf; Deana M. Britt, wife of Tim Britt, of Bernville; Lynn A. Naftzinger, wife of Chris Naftzinger, of Mohrsville; and Ronald W. Dawson, husband of Angie Dawson of Robesonia; 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Wayne was predeceased by his sister Barbara Kathman.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. Bean Funeral Home, Sinking Spring is in charge of arrangements.
