Frederick Malsnee

Frederick R. Malsnee, 90, of Mt. Penn passed away Wednesday, December 17th, at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where he had been a patient for two weeks.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Leroy H. Malsnee and Edna (Yoe) Malsnee, and husband of the late Mary Jane (Fister) Malsnee, who passed away February 21, 1986.

He was a 1936 graduate of Reading High School, and a Veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II.

He was a member of Trinity U.C.C. in Mt. Penn.

He worked as an estimator for the family business for 46 years, retiring in 1983.

He is survived by his son: D. Scott Malsnee of Sinking Spring.

There are also 2 granddaughters: Michele Seidel, wife of Randy Seidel of Reading, and Denise Seyfert, fiance of Chris Fletcher, of Fleetwood.

There are also 2 great granddaughters: Caitlin and Taylor.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was pre deceased by a brother: Leroy G. Malsnee.
