Frederick Geisinger

Frederick R. Geisinger, 88, of Cumru Township, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at 3:00 am in Berkshire Center. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Russell H. and Anna M. (Rickett) Geisinger. Mr. Geisinger was a member of Saint Luke's Lutheran Church in Reading and worked in maintenance at Narrow Fabric in West Reading for 20 years until his retirement in April 1994. He is survived by his brother Ira R. Geisinger of Indianapolis, Indiana and his sisters Virginia M. Auchter, wife of the late Raymond Auchter of Wernersville and Iola M. Geisinger of Flying Hills. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring Friday, December 29, 2017 at 10:00 am. Reverend William B. Fryer, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow in Charles Evans Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Friday 9:00-10:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Saint Luke's Lutheran Church 449 North 9th Street, Reading, PA 19601 in memory of Mr. Frederick R. Geisinger.
