Frank W. Weber, Jr. of West Lawn, passed away Tuesday May 18, 2021 at 7:15 pm in Berkshire Center. He was the husband of the late Marilyn E. (Miller) Weber who passed away September 19, 2020. Born in Reading, Mr. Weber was the son of the late Frank W. Weber, Sr. and Gertrude (Bright) Weber. He was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church and served in the United States Army and Navy. Mr. Weber was a signalman for Reading Railroad from 1948-1961; an expert national installer and order clerk at Richmaid Kitchens in Robesonia from 1965-1985 and ended his career as an order clerk at Adelphi Kitchens in Robesonia from 1986-1990, retiring April 29, 1990. He was a founding member of Western Berks Ambulance serving as a board member and driver for 25 years retiring as a volunteer. He had a passion for playing cards with friends and his grandchildren, turning them into the family card sharks. Frank and Marilyn enjoyed their summers in the years before grandchildren at the Maryland bay with their boat and a cadre of friends. Mr. Weber is survived by his sons Scott W. Weber, husband of Donna F. Weber of Spring Township; Steven M. Weber of West Lawn and his grandchildren Michael A. Weber, Jillian Weber, Hailey Weber, Chelsea Weber and his great grandchildren Ryan Graham, Skyler Leh, Chloe Leh, Hazel Stearns. He was preceded in death by his sister Betty Weber.
Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Laureldale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to West Lawn United Methodist Church Penn & Woodside Aves.
