Frank D. Staron, 91, of Reading, passed away on October 9, 2017 at The Reading Hospital.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Walter and Mary C. (Slezak) Staron.
Mr. Staron was as US Army Veteran, proudly serving his country during World War II. He was employed as a fork lift operator for Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. of Pottstown for over 30 years, retiring 1980.
He was predeceased by his wife: Mary P. (Lombardo) Staron, step-daughter: Brenda Joy Lauer, and brothers Stanley, Alex, Adam, and Joseph Staron.
Survivors include a step-son: Ralph Lush, husband of Barbara of Wernersville, 5 step-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren, and 1 step-great-great-grandchild. Also surviving is his companion: Nancy Frees, brother: Raymond Staron, and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. John Baptist de La Salle R.C. Church, 42 Kerrick Rd., Shillington, on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10:00AM. The family will receive friends and relatives at church from 9-10:00AM. Entombment will follow the Mass at Gethsemane Cemetery and Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Reading Hospital.
