Frank J. Rees

Frank J. Rees, 96, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025 at 11:30 am at Country Meadows of Wyomissing. He was the husband of the late Dolores Ann (Nichols) Rees who passed away October 4, 2023. Born in Bronx, New York, Mr. Rees was the son of the late Frank and Paula (Vorgrimber)  Rees. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and was an electrical engineer for the New York City Board of Education until his retirement. Mr. Rees is survived by his children Kathleen M. Meehan wife of John J. Meehan of Douglassville; Arlene R. Mastrocola wife of Vincent J. Mastrocola of Allentown; Dianne R. Rees of Maryland; Susan C. Rees-Kirchner wife of Alan Kirchner of Sinking Spring; Thomas G. Rees husband of Trina Rees of Harleysville and his 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Mr. Rees is also survived by his sister Clara Johnson wife of Roger Johnson and was preceded in death by his grandson Michael C. Meehan.

Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 548 Old Swede Road, Douglassville at the convenience of the family. Reverend Gregory Frey will officiate. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of New Jersey, 50 Millstone Road, Building 300, Suite 201, East Windsor, New Jersey 08520 in memory of Mr. Frank J. Rees.
