Frank "Fedo" Richard Horvat, 95, of South Heidelberg Township, passed away on June 3, 2017 at Phoebe Berks, living there one month. He was the beloved husband of Verna S. (Dickinson) Horvat. June 25th would have been their 68 year anniversary. Born on May 8, 1922 in Lebanon, Pa he was the son of the late Stephen and Kathryn (Saturday) Horvat. During his life he was employed as machine assembler at Rockwell International for 39 years retiring in November 1984. Frank was a World War II Veteran serving in the US Army Field Artillery in the Pacific Theatre. He was a life member of the Womelsdorf VFW Post 6558 and a member of St. Francis de Sales Church in Robesonia. Frank enjoyed wood working and gardening.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Ronald Scott Horvat, husband of Susan (Ganser) Horvat, of Hereford Township; Stephen Richard Horvat, husband of Debra (Nagle) Horvat, of Lower Heidelberg Township; 4 granddaughters, Sarah Trinkle (wife of Anthony Trinkle), Emily Horvat, Michelle Horvat, Amanda Horvat; great-granddaughter Quinn Angela Trinkle; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 3 sisters Anna Hook, Margaret Hollenbach and Theresa Eiceman.
