Francis J. Hutchko, Sr.

Francis J. Hutchko, Sr., 82, of Shillington passed away in his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.  Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Anne (Kness) and Theodore Hutchko.  Frank was the loving husband of Margaret M. (Diamond) Hutchko, together they shared almost 59 years of marriage.  He worked as a Supervisor for Anheuser-Busch for 35 years before retiring.  He was a member of the Church of Saint Benedict and prior to moving a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church.  Frank was involved in his community at the Heritage of Green Hills where he played water volleyball with fellow residents.  He enjoyed cheering on the Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Flyers.  He loved going on cruises and taking trips to Disney with his family.  Frank will be remembered as a devoted family man and always the life of the party.
In addition to his wife, Margaret, Frank is survived by his children, Margaret Trapani of Mt. Penn and Francis J. Hutchko, Jr. of Exeter.  Also surviving are his grandchildren, Erin and David Hutchko, Chase, Jarrett, and Laela Trapani.  Frank is preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Hutchko.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Church of Saint Benedict, 2020 Chestnut Hill Road, Mohnton, PA 19540.  Monsignor Edward R. Domin to celebrate.  The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 9:45 am to 10:45 am in the Church of Saint Benedict.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in honor of Mr. Francis Hutchko, Sr to a charity of your choice.
