Forrest Haas

Forrest M. Haas, 84, of Reading, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 in the Keystone Villa at Ephrata.
He was the husband of the late Angelina (Sartori) Haas.
Born in Reading on May 5, 1931, he was the son of the late Lester D. Haas and Emily M. (Hartman) Haas.
Forrest was a Korean War Veteran and retiree of Occidental Chemical Corporation
after 38 years of service.
He was predeceased by one son, John M.
Surviving are his daughters, Karen Long, Emily Boyer and Kim Haas along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, stepchildren and step-grandchildren.
Forrest is also survived by a brother, Franklin and three sisters; Fern, wife of William Ramsey, Faye, wife of Robert Dotterrer and Janet, wife of Donald Reppert, all of whom reside in Reading, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mr. Haas' memory to Hospice For All Seasons: 280 South Hill Drive, Grantville, PA 17028.
A private graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
