Floyd Rishell, Jr

Floyd "Smoke" Edward Rishell, Jr., 79, of Laureldale, passed away March 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM in his residence. He was the husband of Helen M. (Boyer) Rishell who passed away March 29, 2002. Born in Reading on February 5, 1932, he was the son of the late Floyd Edward Rishell, Sr and the late Ardell M. (Gauby) Rishell.

Floyd was a 1949 graduate of Reading High School. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a life member of North End Rod and Gun Club and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 38, Reading.

Surviving are 2 sons Floyd "Chip" Edward Rishell,III husband of Cheryl L. (Nowotarski) Rishell of Shillington and Jay E. Rishell of Spanish Fort, Alabama, 3 grandchildren Stephanie L. (Rishell) wife of Justin N. Boyer of Flying Hills, Collin E. Rishell and Alexa H. Rishell both of Spanish Fort, Alabama and a sister Diane M. (Rishell) Jacobs of Reading. He was predeceased by siblings Jane L. Boeshore, Russell R. Rishell and Earl H. Rishell.
