Fern Weber

Fern R. Weber, 94, formerly of Cumru Township, passed away January 12, 2011 at 11:35 am in the Loving Hands of God in the residence of her daughter, Susan E. Heflin. She was the wife of the late Daniel Weber, Jr. who passed away September 15, 1973. Born in Shillington she was the daughter of the late Marion J. and Edna E. (Miller) Schlegel. Mrs. Weber was a clerk for C.K. Whitner Co. in Reading for 25 years, retiring in June of 1974. She was a member of Reading Moravian Church and an Army Air Corp. veteran of World War II serving as a clerk/typist. She is survived by her son Daniel M. husband of Barbara J. Weber of Cumru Township and her daughter Susan E. wife of Gerald D. Heflin with whom she last resided. Also surviving are her grandchildren Chris, Lori, Kelly, Jennifer, Michele, Rachel, Danny and great grandchildren Alex, Samantha, Amanda, Jocelyn, Olivia, Giovanni, Austin, Andrew, Jackson, Everett. She was preceded in death by her grandson Timothy D. Hughes and brothers Melvin and Glenn Schlegel.
