Fay Young

Fay A. (Bolich) Young, 73, of Reading, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Reading Hospital surrounded by loved ones. Born in Schuylkill County, she was the daughter of the late Ray W. Bolich and Mildred (Corby) Bolich and was predeceased by her brother, Ray W. Bolich, Jr.

In her early years, Fay was employed as a clerk at Nichol's Department Store as well as a customer service representative at Luden's Candy Factory; however, she spent the majority of her working years as a key punch operator at UGI Utilities.

Fay was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family and friends. She always looked forward to annual trips to Wildwood, New Jersey and Newport, Rhode Island. In addition, Fay enjoyed shopping with her girlfriends, outings to various casinos and hosting holiday gatherings. Most of all, Fay loved and cared for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a kind and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Fay was beloved by many and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Holly A. Young, loving companion of Bill (Bull) Shannon of Alsace Township; her son, Brian K. Young, husband of Ann L. Young of Sinking Spring; her grandchildren, Brandie L. Breitenstein, loving companion of Joseph Bannar, Alexandra E. Young, Madison A. Young, and Brady R. Young and two great-grandchildren, Leanna M. Stout and Logan R. Roberts. She is also survived by her loving companion of 41 years, Barry J. Woytko, with whom she resided.
Memorial Service will be held in Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 11:00 am. Reverend Dale Davis will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm and Wednesday 10:00-11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Suite 170, Bethlehem, PA 18017 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Mrs. Fay A.
