Evelyn Perfetto

August 19, 1945 — April 12, 2009

Evelyn E. "Evie" Perfetto, 63, of Fleetwood, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009 at 4:38 p.m. at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she had been a patient for less than a day.


Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Howard V. Brown Sr. and Ethel I. (Beissel) Brown.


She was the wife of Frederic Perfetto of Fleetwood. The couple shared 40 wonderful years of marriage.


She worked in various departments at Lucent Technologies, last working in 1997. Previously, she worked as a beutician at various hair salons.


She loved the casinos, especially Hollywood Casinos and the Casinos in Atlantic City. She enjoyed spending time with her family: dinners with her husband Fred, spending time with her son and having the grandchildren over to swim at her pool. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends.


In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son: Barry L. Miller Jr., husband of Faith L. Miller, of Fleetwood, and her step daughter: Tammy (Howe) Sizer, wife of Brian of Wyomissing.


There are also grandchildren: Jamie, Chad, and Cory Miller and Jason Doll, and great grandchildren: Christopher and Daniel.


She is also survived by her sisters: Darlene A. "Dolly" Brown of Leesport and Kathryn A. (Brown) Stichter, wife of Richard G. of Leesport, and a brother: Robert L. Brown of Hamburg, and nieces and nephews.


In addition to her parents, she was pre deceased by a brother: Howard V. Brown Jr., who passed away July 18, 1991.
