Evelyn Michalski

Evelyn J. Michalski, 69, of Sinking Spring, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on October 19, 2016 at her residence.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of late Forrest V. Pawling and Florence (Fetter) Pawling.
Evelyn was employed as an executive assistant for US Air Express and later Berks County Solid Waste Authority. She loved her family, which meant everything to her.
Evelyn suffered from multiple painful illnesses, and fought a courageous battle while on hospice for 18 month. She is no longer suffering, and is now at peace.
She was predeceased by her son: John J. Michalski, Jr. and brother: Forrest V. Pawling, Jr.
She is survived by her husband: John J. Michalski, daughter: Lisa M. Schrift, wife of Rodney K. of Sinking Spring, Grandchildren: Chase J. Schrift and Zoe A. Witt-Michalski of Michigan. She is also survived by her brother, Michael Pawling of Boyertown; sisters: Sharon Kerns of Sinking Spring, Susan Shaud of Reading, Denise Balliet of Andreas, PA, and Diane Pawling of Sinking Spring; and multiple nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 6-8:00PM and on Tuesday from 10-11:00AM. The interment will follow the service at Berks County Memorial Gardens.
