Evelyn Klick

June 30, 1931 — August 5, 2016

Evelyn I.Klick, 85, of Reading, passed away Friday, August 5, 2016 at 6:45 pm in her home. She was the wife of the late John E. Klick who passed away August 26, 2014. Born in Reading, Mrs. Klick was the daughter of the late Leo and Helen (Seidel) Wentzel. She was a 1949 graduate of Reading High School and was a clerk at AT&T/Lucent Technologies for 30 years until her retirement. She was a life member of Telephone Pioneers of America which also included Hug A Bear and Cardiac Hearts Programs and was very active in Take Off Pounds Sensibly(TOPS) program. Mrs. Klick is survived by her daughter Cynthia A. Iaccarino with whom she last resided and her son Mark S. Klick of Hummelstown along with her grandchildren Ryan Klick, husband of Janae Klick; Carli Klick; Deanna Nellinger and Lauren Nellinger and her great grandchildren Aiden; Haylee; Mireya; Kahmya; Divianna and Isaiah. She is also survived by her sister Betty Epler of Kenhorst and was preceded in death by her sisters Edith Koch and Ruth Fortna and her brother Donald Wentzel.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, North 16th & Rockland Streets, Hampden Heights Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 9:00 am. Reverend Paul L. Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday 8:00-9:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave. 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001 or BAYADA Hospice 100 Schaeffer Street, Suite 4, Boyertown, PA 19512 in memory of Mrs. Evelyn I.
