Eugene S. Bernhart

Eugene S. Bernhart, 89, of Fleetwood, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Reading Hospital, with his loving family by his side. Eugene was the loving husband to Barbara A. (Huber) for over 64 years of marriage, before her passing on August 7, 2020. Born in Reading, Eugene was the son of the late, Edward Bernhart and Evelyn (Stief). Eugene was a graduate of Reading High School, class of 1953, and went on to serve in the United States Navy. He then worked for Lucent Technologies for over 33 years before his retirement in 1992.

Eugene is survived by his children, Scott D. Bernhart, of Reading, Kathleen A. Bernhart, loving companion of Albert D. Hartman, of Mertztown, and his grandchildren, Sara L. Bernhart and Blake O. Hartman.
