Esther M. Barker, 75, of Willow Street, Lancaster County, passed away March 30, 2010 at 4:50 PM in her residence. She was the wife of Alvin H. Barker.
Bornin Akron, PA on December 20, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Clayton G. and Florence M. (Clair) Habecker.
Mrs. Barker was a member of Willow Street United Church of Christ.
Surviving in addition to her husband are 2 daughters Sharon L. (Barker) wife of Walter Gable of Lancaster and Kathryn L. (Barker) wife of Clyde T. Diffendall of East Petersburg, 4 grandchildren Jessica A. Eshbach, Timothy M. Barker, Jeffrey L. Barker and Rene Pope, 6 great grandchildren Hunter J. Barker, Jeffrey L. Barker Jr., Jason L. Barker, Jadin L. Barker, Kyle Pope and Katlyn Pope, 3 sisters Helen (Habecker) Brosey of Campbelltown, Mary F. (Habecker) Matthew of Salem, NJ, Mildred (Habecker) Miller of Pennsville, NJ and Martha (Habecker) Lehn of Lancaster and a sister in law Edna G. Barker of Lebanon. She was predeceased by a grandaughter Joyce E. Krick and 2 great grandchildren Carrie Ann Geiter and Kyle Krick.
