Ellis H. Garman

Ellis “Mike” H. Garman, 94, of Sinking Spring, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Reading Hospital. Ellis was the loving husband to Beatrice L. (Brightbill) Garman for over 56 years of marriage. Born in Elverson, Ellis was the son of the late Lester E. Garman, and Dorothy M. (Benner). Ellis served in the United States Air Force and went on to work as a Supervisor for Elite Sportswear for over 20 years, before his retirement.

In addition to his wife Beatrice, Ellis is survived by his children, Scott A. Garman, husband of Andi, of Florida, Terry E. Garman, husband of Tanya, of Sinking Spring, Michael Garman, of Indiana, Debbie Waldman, wife of Douglas, of Indiana, Gary Garman, of Indiana, and stepson, Larry E. Franck, husband of Brenda of Morgantown, PA. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Ellis is predeceased by his stepdaughter, Bonnie L. Bachman, his brother, Jim Garman, and sisters, Pearl Wentzel and Lena Hess.
