Elizabeth W. Mertz, 96, of Spring Twp., passed away on October 13, 2016 at Manor Care Sinking Spring.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Esther G. Witwer.
Elizabeth was employed at Rosedale Hosiery & Knitting and R.M. Palmer Candy. She enjoyed reading and telling jokes, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was pre deceased by her husband: Paul F. Mertz, Jr., son: Gregory Mertz, and brothers: Bill Witwer, Benjamin McKnight, and Morris McKnight.
She is survived by her daughter: Debbra L. Mertz of Mohnton; grandchildren: TeAnn Hartman of Mohnton, Michael P. Mertz of Mohnton, and Eric J. Mertz of Gibraltar. She is also survived by her Brother: Charles McKnight and sisters: Mary Rodolff and Carrie Beck.
Funeral Services will be at the convenience of the family.
