Elizabeth Freeman

Elizabeth Jean Freeman, 89, of Shillington, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 5:07 pm in Mifflin Center where she resided since February 2009. She was the wife of Robert C. Freeman and together were married for 69 years. Born in Leesport, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Snyder) Noll. Mrs. Freeman was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Gouglersville, loved to vacation in Wildwood, New Jersey with her family and enjoyed baking Christmas cookies with her children. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Barbara J. Day of York Springs, PA; Richard R. Freeman, husband of Susan Freeman of South Bend, Indiana; Deborah L. Esser, wife of Michael L. Esser of Mohnton and Susan A. Eppihimer, wife of Robert D. Eppihimer of Newmanstown. Mrs. Freeman is also survived by her grandchildren, with whom she loved spending time with, Ryan; Adrienne; Heather; Richard; Sheri; Jeffrey; Ashlee and Michael, Jr. along with her 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. She is also survived by her brothers James Noll, husband of Fern Noll of Kenhorst and Forrest Noll, husband of Marty Noll of Reading.
Funeral Services will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington Friday, August 14, 2015 at 11:00 am. Reverend Debora K. Gifford will officiate.
