Eleanor Tobias

Eleanor K. Tobias (Lebo) 86, of Blandon, passed away at her home on Monday, January 3, 2022. She was the loving wife to Allan L. Tobias for over 40 years of marriage. Born in Reading, PA she was the daughter of the late Russell and Sara F. (Coleman) Lebo. Eleanor was a graduate of Reading High School, class of 1953, and went on to work as a Wire Bonder for Lucent Technologies (Bell Labs) for over 20 years before her retirement in 1997.

In addition to her husband, Eleanor is survived by her stepsons, Brett Tobias of Philadelphia, and Jason Tobias of Blandon.

Eleanor is preceded in death by her stepson, Sean Tobias, and her sister Judy Martin.

Celebration of Eleanor’s life will be held in Bean Funeral Homes, 1605 Rockland Street, Reading, on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 12:30 PM. Amy Landis, Certified Celebrant to officiate. Interment will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive guests in Bean Funeral Home, on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
