Eleanor Seasholtz

Eleanor M. (Lyn) Seasholtz, 91, resident of Wyomissing borough for 66 years passed away on July 14th at the Highlands of Wyomissing where she resided for the past 10 years.
Born on October 13, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Francis Mast.
She was a 1944 graduate of Reading High School. Lyn loved children and received a degree from Maryland College for Women. She then went on to teach preschool at Van Reed school for children and RAAC for many years. She was a faithful member at Trinity Lutheran Church in Reading and later at Atonement Lutheran Church in Wyomissing.
Lyn was preceded in death by her husband, J. Edward Seasholtz, and her sister Dorothy Johnston
Lyn's greatest joy was being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was Immensely proud of her family, and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom will dearly miss her.
She is survived by four children John M. Seasholtz and wife Kathy of Center Valley Pa; Reid C. Seasholtz and wife Patti of Mohnton Pa; Barbara S. Sweigart and husband Steve of Ephrata; and James E. Seasholtz and wife Tracy of Douglassville Pa.

She is also survived by nine grandchildren Heather (Marc) DiSabella, Stephen(Vanessa) Seasholtz, Rebecca (Dean) Chencharik , Elizabeth (Ryan) Olech, Bradley Sweigart, Andrew Sweigart , Sarah Seasholtz, Maureen Seasholtz, Hannah Seasholtz and also two great grandchildren, Bennett and Eva DiSabella.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 23rd , 2018 at Bean Funeral Home, 129 E Lancaster Ave Shillington, Pa. at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Springfield ME Church cemetery in Elverson Pa. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00am-11:00am. Online condolences may be made to www.beanfuneralhomes.com
