Eleanor Ohlinger

Eleanor E. Ohlinger, 86, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 11:40 am in Mifflin Center. She was preceded in death by her loving companion of 30 years, Daniel Rentschler, who passed away in 2001. Born in Centre Township, Mrs. Ohlinger was the daughter of the late Willis and Stella (Wagner) Althouse. She was a packer at David Crystal until her retirement. Mrs. Ohlinger is survived by her daughter Donna M. (Althouse) Clark, wife of Lynn R. Clark of Austin, PA and her grandsons Kevin Madeira, Jared Ohlinger and Matthew Ohlinger and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Ray W. Althouse, husband of Geraldine B. Althouse of Shartlesville and Norman Becker, husband of Helen Becker of Elizabethtown. Mrs. Ohlinger was preceded in death by her son Lynn Ohlinger in 2005.
