Eleanor Greth

Eleanor Claire Greth, 86, of formerly of Wernersville and a current resident of the Highlands at Wyomissing for the past 5 weeks, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 9:30 am in Reading Hospital. Born in Reading Mrs. Greth was the daughter of the late Irvin A. and Mamie R. (Bloch) Moodhart. She was a 1948 graduate of Reading High School and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Reading. Mrs. Greth was an accountant at VF Corporation in Wyomissing for 44 A½ years retiring July 31, 1995. She is survived by her sisters Fern B. High of the Highlands at Wyomissing; Madelyn M. Barbon of the Highlands at Wyomissing and June C. Beck of Reading along with her 5 nephews and 4 nieces. Mrs. Greth was preceded in death by her companion Kenneth C. Ohlinger and her brothers Leonard I. Moodhart and Robert B. Moodhart.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring Monday, January 9, 2017 at 11:00 am. Reverend Marsha K. Anderson will officiate. Entombment will follow in Laureldale Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Monday 10-11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church 33 South 11th Street, Reading, PA 19602 in memory of Mrs. Eleanor Claire Greth.
