Edward B. Wentzel, 89, formerly of Exeter Township, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 7:33 am at Berks Heim. He was the husband of the late Dorothy M. (Marinitz) Wentzel who passed away August 14, 2013. Born in Reading, Mr. Wentzel was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Vojtasek) Wentzel. He was a member of Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Township and was a 1953 graduate of Shillington High School. Mr. Wentzel held various positions in banking and inventory control last working at Premium Beverage. He is survived by his children Sister Mary Rene, IHM, of Camilla Hall, Immaculata, PA; Terri M. Mueller wife of Daron K. Mueller of Exeter Township; Margaret Yuskovic wife of John T. Yuskovic of Bern Township and was preceded in death by son Edward M. Wentzel survived by Lora H. Wentzel of Apopka, Florida, who passed away on December 4, 2023. Mr. Wentzel is also survived by his grandchildren Christopher M., Zachary J., Megan T., Michael P., Parker E., Lucas W., Mason N. and Leo D. and his great grandchildren Christopher, Evie, Patrick, Jon, Benjamin, Molly and Addison and his sister Patricia Kozlowski of Connecticut. The family of Mr. Wentzel would like to extend their gratitude to the staff on B-2 Unit at Berks Heim, the staff at Tower Health Home Hospice and a special thank you to Reverend Kerry Hicks.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church 4975 Boyertown Pike, Exeter Township, Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 10:00 am. Reverend Brian M. Miller, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church Saturday from 9:00 am to 9:45 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Camilla Hall IHM Mission Advancement Office 100 Maxis Drive, Malvern, PA 19355 in memory of Mr. Edward B. Wentzel.
