Edna Leisey

Edna Marie(Stoudt) Leisey, 68, of Centre Township, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 9:53 am in Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late Lee Leisey who passed away February 10, 1990. Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late LeRoy Keller and Lillian Stoudt. She was a 1965 graduate of Reading High School. Mrs. Leisey was a telephone operator at Bell Telephone; worked on the line at Western Electric; was a telephone operator at Monson Answering Service and worked in accounts receivables at Brenntag North East in Leesport, former Textile Chemical, for 25 years, retiring in 2013. Mrs. Leisey is survived by her children Kelly M. Leisey at home and Michael L. Leisey of Sinking Spring. She is also survived by her sister Judy D. Kochel, wife of Richard T. Kochel, Sr. of Reading, her nephew Richard T. Kochel, Jr. of Temple and her niece Jessica Kochel of Reading. Also surviving are her aunts, Dorothy Rothenberger, a guest at ManorCare Health Services, Sinking Spring; Helen Becker of Laureldale; Ruth Rothenberger of Muhlenberg Township and her uncle Joseph Stoudt of Temple and was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles. Mrs. Leisey is also survived by her Cat Jade.
Funeral Services will be held in Bean Funeral Home, North 16th & Rockland Streets, Hampden Heights, Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 3:00 pm. Reverend Kerry L. Hicks will officiate.
