Earl Stauffer

Earl L. Stauffer, 82, of Spring Township, passed away October 8, 2010 at 8:05 pm in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center. He was the husband of Pauline (Orlando)Stauffer. Born in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Orwal L. and Blanche K. (Gillinger) Stauffer. Mr. Stauffer was a 1945 graduate of Reading High School. He was an electrical design checker for the former Gilbert Associates for 36 years retiring in 1988. He was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, served in the United States Army in Korea and was a life member of Chandler Lodge #227 F&AM, West Reading. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters Lorraine D. wife of Keith G. Snyder of Hamburg and Diane M. Stauffer of San Diego, CA along with his granddaughter Corrine L. wife of Peter Dietrich, step granddaughter Stefanie Snyder, great granddaughter Mackenzie C. Dietrich, step great granddaughter Cheyenne Dietrich and step great grandson Cody Dietrich. Also surviving are his sisters Phyllis Leis of Waterfall, PA and Judith Falk of Muhlenberg Township.
