Dr. Robert W. Kinderman, 90, of Flying Hills, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the Reading Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of the late Constance (Cleck) Kinderman, who passed away in March 2002. Born in Philadelphia, PA., he was the son of the late Walter J. Kinderman and Margaret (Scanlon). He served proudly in the US Marine Corps as a Captain, during the Korean War.
Dr. Kinderman received many degrees in Education. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from West Chester University, his Master’s Degree from the University of Western Maryland and his PhD from Temple University in 1980.
During his life, he was a Professor for many years and lastly was the Acting Dean for the College of Education of Kutztown University, until retirement in 1993.
Robert was also the head varsity football coach for Kutztown University from 1966-1972.
Dr. Kinderman is survived by his children, Scott W. Kinderman, husband of Dede Kinderman, of Rincon, Georgia; Kelen Geiger, wife of Mark Geiger, of Rindge, New Hampshire; grandchildren, Samuel Geiger, Cody Stephens, Jake Kinderman; and 5 great grandchildren.
